On 13th March 2019, Lancashire firefighters provided life-saving oxygen to Red the Border Collie using a mask donated by Smokey Paws following a successful sea rescue on Knott End beach.
Red had been spotted struggling in rough seas 400m from the Knott End coastline before he was rescued by brave volunteers of the coastguard.
Thankfully, following the quick thinking from all involved, Red has now made a full recovery.
